2010 Volvo C30
- New trim lines for 2.4i model
For 2010, the Volvo C30’s trim lines are modified. The 2.4i is now available in a base or Premium line, giving the C30 three trim lines. An R-Design option is available with the 2.4i Premium and T5.
Based on the S40 sedan, the C30 comes as the 2.4i, with 2.4-litre five-cylinder engine, and as the T5, with turbocharged 2.5-litre five-cylinder. The 2.4 uses a five-speed manual transmission, the T5 a close-ratio six-speed manual; both can be optioned to a five-speed automatic transmission.
Trim lines are the 2.4i, 2.4i Premium, 2.4i R-Design, T5 Premium, and T5 R-Design.
Features on the 2.4i include 16-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, electronic brake force distribution, brake assist, front and rear fog lights, heated mirrors, heated T-Tec cloth seats, driver’s height adjuster, CD/MP3 stereo with auxiliary input, cruise control, illuminated vanity mirrors, illuminated locking glovebox, floor mats, auto up/down windows, tilt and telescopic steering wheel with audio controls, and variable intermittent wipers.
The 2.4i Premium adds dual-zone automatic climate control, headlight washers, power sunroof, heated mirrors with integrated turn signals, tinted glass, leather-wrapped steering wheel, power driver’s seat with memory, Sirius satellite radio, auto-dimming rearview mirror, compass, Bluetooth connectivity, garage door opener, and trip computer.
The R-Design Package adds 18-inch alloy wheels, bi-xenon headlamps, chrome mirror caps, rear spoiler, sport body kit, aluminum inlays, R-Design “Agnes” leather upholstery, sport pedals, and sport gauges.
The T5 Premium builds on the 2.4i Premium and adds 17-inch alloy wheels, blind spot information system, bi-xenon headlamps, aluminum inlays, heated leather seats, and driver and passenger memory.
The R-Design adds 18-inch alloy wheels, chrome mirror caps, rear spoiler, sport body kit, sport dials, sport pedals, and sport gauges.
